Counterparty Integrity Assessment
Know Who You Are Really Doing Business With
One of the most expensive mistakes in international trade is placing trust in the wrong counterparty. A company may appear legitimate through its website, brochures, or corporate registration, yet lack the financial strength, operational capability, or integrity required to perform its contractual obligations. In some cases, the organization exists only on paper. In others, the company is genuine but is represented by unauthorized individuals, undisclosed intermediaries, or fraudulent bank accounts.
AME Assurance conducts an independent Counterparty Integrity Assessment before contracts are signed or funds are transferred. Our objective is to provide clients with a clear understanding of who they are dealing with, how the business operates, and whether there are material risks that should influence commercial decisions.
Every assessment follows the AME Assurance Protocol and includes a structured review of the company’s legal existence, ownership structure, management, operational capability, commercial reputation, publicly available litigation, regulatory issues, sanctions exposure, and other relevant risk indicators. Where appropriate, information is supported through local verification and independent commercial sources.
The outcome is not simply a collection of facts. Clients receive an executive assessment explaining the principal risks, our level of confidence in the available information, and a practical recommendation regarding whether the proposed relationship should proceed.
